Can foreign nationals buy property in the UAE?
Yes. Foreign nationals can buy freehold property in designated areas across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah, with full ownership rights and no requirement to be a resident.
What is off-plan property, and how does payment work?
Off-plan means buying before completion, directly from the developer. Payment is staged against construction milestones, and buyer funds are held in a government-regulated escrow account until handover.
What taxes apply to UAE property investment?
There is no capital gains tax and no income tax on rental proceeds. A one-off Dubai Land Department transfer fee of 4% applies at purchase, plus standard registration and agency costs.
Does buying property qualify me for a Golden Visa?
A property investment of AED 2 million or more can qualify you for a 10-year renewable Golden Visa, covering your spouse and dependants. We can walk you through the current requirements.
How does RealTerra select the projects it recommends?
Every project passes a five-point screen: developer track record, completion risk, yield floor, exit liquidity, and a documented growth thesis. If a launch fails any of them, we do not present it.
